The maps cost £3 each and are available from either Daphne's Coffee Shop, Binfield Village Stores or the Foxes Den Community Cafe, on the days the trail is open. 

Firstly, if you're local and can walk to the trail then we encourage you to do so, as we expect it to be quite busy.  If you do need to park locally there is a pay and display car park at Oakmede shops or you can park in local roads.  Please park considerately of others as the village has many families and elderly residents.

The best places are Daphne's Coffee Shop, Foxes Den Community Cafe and Binfield Village Stores (all of which are where you buy the maps from) plus there is a Co-Op mini supermarket on Forest Road.

We'd recommend bringing a pen to mark off the eggs you've seen and some change to buy the maps (£3 each) to make it easier but apart from that, just yourselves.

It depends how fast you walk but we expect that to complete the full route it's around 3 hours. You don't have to complete it in one go either.

No there's no need to complete the route.  When you buy your map you'll clearly see where all the eggs are located so you can do as many as you can.  You can also return at any point during the trail and finish it off if you want to.

Absolutely!  Last year we had kids out in their waterproofs and wellies having a fantastic time.  Don't forget we've got fantastic coffee shops, sweet shops & various pubs in walking distance if you need to warm and fuel up.

It's literally open to everyone and in previous years we've seen new born babies going round and couples in their 80's...so whether you fancy a stroll round by yourself or you're coming with friends and family, don't think twice just come and enjoy yourself.
